来自M&M's的一则广告,男主角是拉丁（ Havana, Cuba)男星William Levy.
"Get in the bowl" "No you get in the bowl"不知道有没有西班牙语版本。
M&M's还和西班牙内战 la Guerra Civil Española 扯上了点关系. Forrest Edward Mars在西班牙内战期间,看到士兵们吃着用硬糖衣包裹的巧克力(避免融化)。得到启发而后发明了M&M's糖果.（两个M是其两创始者姓氏首字母)
Los M&M's están basados en los "Smarties" ingleses. Forrest Edward Mars vio a soldados durante la Guerra Civil Española comer bolitas de chocolate cubiertas de azúcar que evitaba que se deshicieran en los dedos debido al calor. Después de que los estadounidenses Forrest Mars y R. Bruce Murriec compraran en 1939 los derechos, introdujeron el producto en el mercado estadounidense con otro nombre porque ya se vendía un dulce con el nombre de Smarties. Para dar un nombre a la marca utilizaron las iniciales de sus apellidos: M y M.
